Steve Andrews Biography

Steve Andrews is an American investigative reporter. He works at WFLA in Tampa Bay’s most recognized and honored I-team. Over the years, he has garnered a number of awards including seven Emmys and a medal from The Investigative Reporters and Editors Association in 1990 for his exceptional investigative reporting skill.

Much of Steve’s personal life is unknown to the public. It is however known that he is married and has two children. Despite this, neither do we know his wife’s name, nor the name of his children.

Steve Andrews Career

Steve joined WFLA in 1985 and has worked there ever since. He has over 33 years of experience working for the station. In the channel, he started off as a general assignment reporter. Over the years, he has risen up through the ranks to where he is now. Judging from the awards he has garnered, he has great expertise in the field of investigative journalism with seven Emmy Awards as well as a coveted medal from The Investigative Reporters and Editors Association.

In addition to his work with WFLA, he has also worked with several other stations. He has been in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked with KSAT-TV. He also has been in Portland, Maine where he worked with WGME-TV. Alongside television, he started off in radio broadcasting at WLAM, a radio station broadcasting an oldies format. He served as the station’s sports director, Disc Jockey, and news director. During these times, he was based in Auburn, Maine.

Up to date, Steve Andrews has covered a variety of topics and stories for various stations. He has also traveled to many places in order to fully cover some major and minor alike stories. Judging by the amount of time he has spent in WFLA, and his views on the channel, he doesn’t seem to have the thought of moving to other channels.
