Natalie Kalibat Biography
Natalie Kalibat is an American journalist, television personality and sportscaster who is currently the weeknight sports anchor at WRIC-TV in Richmond, Va. She is passionate about connecting with athletes and coaches while piecing together their stories allowing them to brighten your tv screen.

Natalie Kalibat attributes her love of sports to growing up in a family of Division-I athletes. Kristiana, her oldest sister, swam at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. Her brother Peter was the captain of the men’s swimming and diving team at Georgetown University.
Rebecca Kalibat, Natalie’s mother and an Arlington native, was also a collegiate swimmer, who graduated from Mary Washington in 1985. Natalie takes pride in her mother’s roots, which come from Norfolk, Virginia, she is always thrilled to be in Virginia, where she spent a majority of her childhood visiting family.

Kalibat grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. She majored in sociology at the University of Southern California where she was a diver. Kalibat was also part of the 2016 Pac-12 championship team, the first in program history. She graduated from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

Kalibat won the 2012 United States Olympic Trials for diving in the Synchronized Women 10m Platform event and won 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform AAU titles in 2012. She qualified for Olympic trials while a senior in high school. She was one of the actors.

During her time at the university, Kalibat wasn’t at the pool, she worked at the Annenberg Media Center, anchoring and reporting ATVN, USC’s first source for news. While competing and studying at USC, Natalie had several internships. She interned with KNBC’s Sports department, Wasserman Media Group, and the Special Olympic World Games.
Kalibat also reported regularly for ESPN affiliate WeAreSC Productions and worked four years for the PAC-12 Networks. Natalie was also a Trojan Ambassador for the USC Athletic Department, representing the University at various events in Los Angeles.

In July 2016, Kalibat was hired as the weekend sports anchor at WBOY-TV in Clarksburg, West Virginia before moving into her current role in December 2017.
She has also worked as a diving analyst for Big Ten Network at the 2018 championships and as a swimming and diving analyst for ACC Network Extra. Kalibat covered the Washington Redskins during their training camp in Richmond and also covered the Monster Energy Cup at Richmond Raceway.
