Janeane Garofalo born in New Jersey, Newton town. her parents Joan Garofalo&Carmine Garofalo.raised in catholic family descent of Italian&Irish.her father used to work at Exxon as an executive, her mother pass away when she was 24 years old this was due to cancer illness. her mother was the secretary in the petrochemical industry.

She also grew up in different states like Texas, California& Madison city and Ontario.she didn’t like Texas that much because of humidity&heat during sports in high school.

Garofalo appeared on The West Wing as Louise Thorton from 2005 to 2006.on 2006 she provided the voice for the animated character Bearded Claim on comedy central’s Freak show. she wrote a book included in the six DVD box set of 1994(my so-called life)she also appeared in several episodes of The Henry Rolling show which took place in her apartment.
